Workshops

Following the successful launch of the Designed Pilates workshops, there will be an ongoing workshop programme enabling you to delve deeper into your Pilates practice, focus on different parts of the body, use different equipment and also have a lot of fun along the way.

Enhance your Pilates knowledge

The half day workshops are a balance of both educational and practical content, mixing movement with knowledge about Pilates and discovering more about your body.

The half day is split into a number of sessions, covering key topics and of course there will be drinks and snacks provided during the session.

Next workshop
12.30 - 4pm
Saturday 14th June

Our next workshop will be covering off:

  • – We’ll start with a mobility and breathwork focussed session, using different visual cues to assist with the movements

– The shoulder – often a restricted part of the body, we’ll be working through different techniques to free more movement into the shoulders, including the Fletcher towel work I’ve recently delved into

– The Wunda Chair – using the small equipment to replicate exercises of this incredible piece of equipment

– Classical Pilates flow – what is it, why was it created and move through the order of the mat with many options provided to access each of the 34 classical exercises

The workshop cost includes drinks and snacks for the afternoon.

£60

I really enjoyed Lisa’s first workshop. Each session was well planned but also felt natural and adaptive to the group. My favourite part was the knee session particularly as Bones got involved! Thanks Lisa, definitely made me more aware of my body and I look forward to the next one.
